Being part of the MNFW has had a significant impact on me. I have always wanted to run my own business, but 10 years as a stay at home Mum does have an effect on your self-confidence, I mean where to start?. Meeting Jude and finding out all about the MNFW was a turning point, her warmth, excitement and obvious passion made me comfortable to admit to her that running my own business was something I’d always wanted to do. She encouraged me to join the network, explaining that it was a place where women could be themselves, explore their ideas, gain skills, confidence and build networks of likeminded women, who were committed to supporting each other and celebrating success. I was nervous but spending time with women from all walks of life, already running successful businesses, who have the same questions and insecurities as me, helped me realise, I can hold my own. That coupled with access to training sessions, positive discussions and support, helped me focus on my dream of running my own business and I have never looked back.
