Christmas Wreath Workshop – 6th Dec 2023

6 December, 2023 @ 9:30 AM 12:00 PM

It’s our annual Christmas event workshop, we’re holding a Christmas Wreath making workshop on Wednesday 6th December, 9.30am-12.00pm at Doncaster Quaker Meeting House, Oxford Place, Off St James Street, DN1 3SL.

Linda owns The Spotted Dog Flower Co. in Blyton where she grows flowers for weddings, bouquets, funerals and other events and runs workshops throughout the year she is a passionate supporter of the strong resurgence in the British flower industry and in doing so uses only seasonal flowers and whatever nature has to offer, incorporating this into her workshops.

In this workshop Linda will demonstrate the process of making a traditional Christmas wreath from scratch using a mossed wire base. This will be suitable for hanging on a door or alternatively to decorate a table. Then it will be your turn to fill your wreath with an amazing array of lovely sweet smelling foliages, you will make use of everything from traditional mixed firs, to eucalyptus, vines, rosemary silver birch, ivy and more and then decorate to your taste, with or without ribbons, cones and baubles.

Don’t delay, come and have some fun in a relaxed and friendly environment, where there will be lots of laughs getting into the Christmas spirit. Your hardwork will be much appreciated when you take your wreath home with you all ready for the Christmas festivities.

No experience necessary. Price includes light refreshments, all materials and aprons. If you have sensitive hands please bring your own gloves.

Spaces are limited so book early to avoid missing out.
